I have just bleached my plastic plants help, pls?

I had this white slime/algae on my plants and fish tank so i decided to take everything apart and start from scratch so i did a 10% solution of bleach to clean the plants and tank then used dechlorinator to rinse them, do i keep doing this until the smell is gone, and if so how long does that take/how many rinses, as well once the smell of bleach is gone does that make it safe for the aquarium? thanks for your help!
