PMS - Severe Mood Swings - Days 8-12?

Does anyone else suffer on days 8-12? I have heard/read so much about PMS and it's symptoms arriving the week that you have your period, but like clockwork, my days 8-12 are horrid. Any thoughts? Thanks!
