I filled out fafsa. Did I do it wrong?

Since My stepmom no longer lives at home and has a place of her own I put my dad as being *divorced or separated* Was I suppose to include her information in the form even though she doesnt live there and there filing for divorce. Also when they filed there taxes since they were legally married they filed together so they would get more money back. But my stepmom has been out of the house for 11 months now
