If you had to make your home right on the Equator, what country (or part of the equator) would it be?

Just think of it, you'd be right in the middle of the Earth! And in a place where winters are unknown. Maybe your future could be in SE Asia, or Africa, or on a Pacific Island, or S. America, or even an Atlantic or Indian Ocean Island, etc., but to answer this question it would have to be somewhere right on the equator, so where would it be?
