Lace wig adhesive showing!!!!!?

I have recently received my new lace wig,it's lovely. I had it fixed by the hairdresser but although the lace is undetectable the glue can be seen under the lace on places (it looks whitish and like dandruff!). Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get rid of it or cover it up? Thank you, any ideas are greatly appreciated.
