Why does political "correctness" usually seem wrong ?

Because most of the time it is a lie.Like the term"african-american"is a politically correct way to say *****.What if you are caucasian american and of african descent?I believe if people are too sensitive about an issue then they need to work on their own self esteem,not depend on me not to offend them.
