Can a Pellet gun work with BBs?

I'm looking to buy a BB gun pistol. Some say pellet or .177 (not sure if this is the rignt number, but you know) Will these also work with bb's? I don't want a gun that i have to put in 1 bb/pellet at a time. And none say how many they hold!!!
