Christians: you say animals don't have thoughts/morals but don't you realize humans are animals heavily driven?

Did someone actually say that animals don't have thoughts and morals? Obviously that person hasn't spent more than 5 minutes around any animal in their life. I know some dogs that are more moral than humans.
